Reducing management burden by improving the accuracy of carp identification! We are advancing research towards further accuracy improvement.
In order to promote local industries in Niigata, we are considering "how we can be of help with IT" and, with the cooperation of Dainichi Koi Farm Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture), we are working on the development of a "Koi Individual Identification System." The koi farming industry relies heavily on the experience and intuition of craftsmen. To digitize the knowledge of these craftsmen for the training of future generations and for better koi production, we are currently conducting research aimed at improving the accuracy of a method for identifying individual koi that is not affected by changes in their growth (patent obtained). *For more details, please refer to the related links page or feel free to contact us.
